No Place to Put It

Red, the first in this series, is anger.

No Place to Put It is an explosive composition—crimson and white radiate from the center, with sharp, forceful strokes and splattered texture pushing outward in every direction. The movement is immediate and uncontained, creating a sense of impact, rupture, and release.

This was the first painting I created after my husband died. It came from a place of raw anger—sudden, intense, and impossible to hold in. There was nowhere to put it, except here.
